The job market for osteopaths

Demand for allied health professionals is at an all-time high. More insurance providers now cover osteopathy as a reimbursed service, and the number of clinics grew by around 8% last year. Osteopaths with a special interest — paediatrics and women’s health in particular — are especially sought after.

Earning potential is strong: a busy revenue-share osteopath in private practice can take home upwards of AED 90,000 per month. Roles are offered on either a fixed salary or a revenue-share basis, and for the right candidate hiring managers tend to be flexible.

Starting the process

Dubai and Abu Dhabi both set two baseline requirements: at least two years of post-graduate practice, and a high level of English proficiency.
