Osteopath (Self-employed, Part-time initially)

We are looking for an Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients in a variety of contexts. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. Duties: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Utilise various techniques to improve patients' mobility and functionality. Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and rehabilitation strategies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress in accordance with clinic policies. Skills: Strong knowledge of medical terminology. Experience or knowledge in paediatrics is an advantage. Familiarity with patient care standards. Understanding the benefits of referral pathways to other medical practitioners Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in patient assessments and treatment plans.
